Inspire complete Learning & Development programme with GP Practices

Morpeth based Inspire People Group has recently completed a bespoke training programme designed to up-skill a group of First Line Managers who are based in GP Practices across Northumberland.

Funded by Northumberland Business Services Ltd the short three session programme addressed a number of identified training needs for office managers, reception managers and team leaders …..all working in busy GP Practices.

Director of Training and Partner at Inspire, Graham Cook said “We were delighted by the outcomes and delegate feedback received from the recent GP programme….they clearly got a great deal from the inter-active modules that we designed to be relevant to their work environment and to address the daily challenges they face”.

Commenting on the results from this pilot programme, Practice Manager and Training Co-ordinator Sue Rowland said “Inspire People Group certainly lived up to its name. I have witnessed first hand the positive effects of the excellent management skills training, that was delivered to our local group of First Line Managers. We have already begun putting some of the important lessons learned into practice; it has made a powerful impact on performance and motivation, and the feedback from our own delegate was extremely positive”.

Inspire now hope to roll-out this programme and other Leadership & Management modules to GP Practices across the North East ahead of proposed government changes that will place commissioning powers firmly in the hands of local Doctors.
